Club Directors
Kevin Krause Director and Head Coach
Coach Krause has been playing and coaching volleyball in Venice, FL since 1993. He is currently the head coach for 3 of our club teams and the Co-Director of Jellys Volleyball. He has been married since 1996 and has two daughters, Courtney and Macenzie Krause.
Charlene Krause Director and Head Coach
Charlene Krause has been coaching both indoor and sand volleyball since 2003. Her passion is working with the younger athletes, ages 8 to 12, to help them develop their fundamentals and their love of the game. She has also been the head volleyball coach at Sky Academy Englewood Campus since 2015.

Kim Scott Head Coach
Kim Scott has been coaching volleyball since 2003. In 2011 she started coaching both club and beach volleyball for Jellys Volleyball. She has been married to her husband Bryan since 1988 and has 2 adult children.
Jon Meyer Head Coach
Coach Jon Meyer became a coach for the Jellys in 2014 coaching both beach and indoor. He has been married since 2001 and has 2 daughters.
Dawn Steinert Head Coach
Dawn started coaching for Jellys in 2018, both indoor and beach. She began coaching volleyball at her local YMCA and then coached MS Volleyball for 3 years at SLA. Dawn is a Financial Advisor and business owner by day and volleyball coach by night.
She has been married to Brandon Steinert since 2002 and is mother to Kendall and Jett. Jett is an avid baseball player and Kendall will be playing college volleyball at BJU in the Fall of 2022.
Millie La Vassaur Head Coach
Coach Millie has coached indoor and beach volleyball with Jellys Volleyball since 2014. Her passion is to share the love of Christ and volleyball with her athletes. She desires to see her athletes grow spiritually as well as athletically. She is currently the Varsity Volleyball coach for St. Stephan Catholic School.
Nick Purvis Coach
Nick is a native Floridian who moved to Venice in 1996. He grew up playing all kinds of sports such as basketball, football, martial arts... He was very competitive as a kid even taking second place in the 12U Tang Soo Do world championships before moving to Venice. Since then he graduated from VHS, where he met his wife Stacey. They have 2 daughters, Laila and Mila.
Nick’s favorite “job" is being a coach. He has been a coach with Jellys since 2020.

Heather Kelly Head Coach

Isa La Vassaur Head Coach
A Sarasota native, Isabella has been playing volleyball since she was 10 years old. She has been with Jellys Volleyball since it began; playing with them for 5 years and returning to coach after she graduated high school. This will be her 5th year coaching with Jellys. She received an academic and volleyball scholarship from SEU, and is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida where she is working towards a degree in Health Sciences.
